Building a New Beginning – this has been our motivation since breaking ground in January for our new facility and it is also what has inspired us to undergo our own internal transformation.
Earlier this year, our EH family all signed our new “Commitment to Excellence Pledge” and we also learned about our personality types and communication styles.  What’s your type?  It sure has been fun to walk around the hospital and hear the buzz about the program.  Whether you’re a Free Spirit (orange), Task (yellow) Leader (green) or People (blue), we all learned how well we blend as a team and why each one of us is important.  Thank you for all of your great ideas generated during the sessions.  Remember to continue thinking about and sharing ideas on how we can bring our Pledge to life.  Remember one of the concepts introduced to us during our work group sessions was this, “what you focus your attention on expands”.  Make the commitment to keep your attention focused on how we can become our community’s number one choice for their health care – not just because we are here, but because they have placed their trust in how we care for them.
